- If I can see you, you're already dead.

Snipers are predators who turn distance into dominance, wielding projectiles with surgical precision from positions of tactical advantage. They understand that the perfect shot isn't about raw accuracy — it's about patience, positioning, and reading the battlefield like a three-dimensional chess board. A sniper knows when to take the shot, when to wait, and when to relocate before the enemy realizes they exist.

Snipers apply their Role ranks to any ranged attack beyond melee distance. They excel at finding and utilizing superior firing positions, reading wind and terrain, tracking moving targets, and the psychological warfare of being an unseen threat. Good commanders use them for reconnaissance, overwatch, and turning environmental advantages into tactical superiority.

This doesn't mean they're helpless up close — most snipers understand that sometimes the enemy gets past their perimeter. While they can't use Sniper Role ranks at melee range, they can still use Maneuver ranks that make sense. Still, their true strength lies in controlling engagement range and making every shot count when it matters most. A Sniper's greatest weapon isn't their bow or crossbow — it's their ability to be exactly where their enemy doesn't expect them to be.

Obviously, Snipers get excellent synergy with Sneak, and work well with Warrior and Naturalist.
